Winter expedition across the Baikal lake, Siberia (Russia), 2008

This time I took part in the Russian expedition. Our target was to reach Ushkani Islands where live ringed seal (endemic animals). We walked on ice of the frozen Baikal Lake about three weeks and slept in tents. Finally we covered a distance almost 250 km.
